Hawaii Wildfires: Ways to Help
On August 8, a series of wildfires broke out in Hawaii, predominantly affecting the island of Maui, causing multiple fatalities and vast destruction in what is now deemed the deadliest U.S. wildfire in a century. The fires are now contained, but the search for people lost in the disaster continues while affected communities seek crucial aid.
The list below includes nonprofits that are working to bring relief to the people in Maui affected by these wildfires. The nonprofit community's response will be ongoing, and as such, this list is not meant to be exhaustive.
