At American Endowment Foundation(AEF), we are constantly striving to provide the best service possible and to enable our donors to experience and grow their charitable impact. To continue this focus, we have reviewed our existing policies and have made the following changes.
Effective September 1, 2021:
- Our minimum account balance for existing Donor Advised Funds is $10,000.
- Our minimum starting account balance for a new Donor Advised Fund is $25,000.
Our process for existing funds will be to:
- Examine the previous three consecutive quarters to see if the Fund complies with the new minimum balance requirement. If the Fund is out of compliance, an additional asset contribution to bring the account into compliance must be made or final charitable grant recommendations must be made so that American Endowment Foundation(AEF) can bring the Donor Advised Fund to a close.
